Summer Open Makers Space We will offer kids a variety of S.T.E.A.M. activities, in addition to hand and machine sewing instruction. Pre-registration required! Registration coming soon: Monday's in July 3:30 pm - 5 pm $15/child Ages 7 and up Young Artists Show Kids in grades K-12 are invited to submit their original artwork for our annual Young Artists Show! Thank you to Coastal Living Gallery for providing the space to make this an extra-special event! July 19-21 Woodworking Camp In this exciting hands-on course, students will be creating a small Shaker-inspired step stool using hand tools. Students will customize the legs of the stool as well as finish the surface in a stain or paint. Instructor: Rebecca Levi. Becca is an experienced educator who currently teaches PK–8 woodworking at Dedham Country Day School. Find out more about Becca here: www.rebeccalevi.us August 13th, 14th, and 15th 9 am - 3 pm Ages 9 - 12 Pet Portraits Kids will use the "grid method" to create an accurate illustration of their favorite pet. Their portrait will be painted and embellished with a selection of mediums to choose from. Participants will be asked to bring a photo of their furry friend! Young artist, Ella Pool will be instructing this course. 8/6, 8/7, 8/8 Ages 9 and up Additional programs will be offered throughout the summer! |
